I decided to create a tumblr account because ivane is there.

Anyway these are the things did today:

- went to the port. I wasn't able to sleep. so i decided to take some photos of the sunrise. to my surprise, i was waiting fronting the bay, and WAAAALAAAA!! it's on the mountain side that the sun rose. failed
- walk to the oil refinary/factory (i really dont know) looking building near the port. I was pretty excited to take some picture of it, but since I (forgetful) did not bring the dslr, the cellphone camera wasn't able to help me at all.
- walk to the other side. I was thinking, I'm liking photography!! hahaha
- i was supposed to take some nice photog in the market but its still too dark and there aren't any people/vendors around yet. went home.
- read some random blogs the rest of the morning left.
- Ate Moyenn and I went to the grocery to buy some fruits, ice cream, biscuits, hopia, coffee, softdrinks.. (haha. gisulti jud tanan) I'm so happy to see her, she's one of my fave cousins. She doesn't like it when i tell her she's very pretty.. LOL
- procrastinating in taking a bath. (don't judge me)
- slept the whole afternoon
- attended to the people in my Lolo's wake.
- smiling
- its midnight, I'm full awake... i dunno what to do.

BTW. i dont want to delete my blogspot just yet... but I will definitely do more stuff in tumblr from now on. We'll see when this "gusto" will end. (doesn't make any sense)

My lolo just died and im here in the province to at least see him during his wake. Its a really sad feeling to say goodbye to someone that you've been with ever since you are born.

I dont have access to my computer so im using this blogger-droid i just installed in my phone earlier. Its 4am now, almost everyone's sleeping.

We're actually waiting for my aunt to arrive from Japan, i still don't know when the burial will be but im gonna be here 4 or 5 more days. At least my supervisors gave me special rest days for this bereavement (?).

Its so silent.

nah... its actually named tira-tira. its been ages that i haven't tasted one again.

for those who did not know, its a local made candy out of sugar and coco milk.

Anyway this post came about because of my friend Josh. I told him about something sweet "like-tira-tira". Its not my favorite delicacy but its a cheeeeeezzzy call name for couples, you know, so much of the "baby", "honey", or "sweet heart" endearments, so for a change why don't lovers call themselves tira-tira or better yet bokarelyo.

Picplz, an instagram-like application for android

I just noticed, the last post I had was January of last year. Isn't it great?

Haha, So i decided to instead post something now, since its been a year that i haven't posted anything.

I'd like to share about this application i found in the Android market, its called Picplz. I have an HTC phone, so in the attempt to look for an instagram apps for Android, I came across this Picplz application instead, since its for free.

It works like instagram, you can edit your photos straight from your camera or gallery and post it on your social networking links..

Celebrating with family

I've been away from my family for quite a long time now, not that far though since they are just in Toledo and Lutopan (2-hour drive from where i am). But the fact is that there were numerous christmas and new years that I have celebrated either alone or with friends or with co-workers. There are some friends that would agree on me if I will say I am a workaholic, since most of the time I prefer working during Christmas and New Year. If you ask me why? of course - holiday pay!.

Anyways, this blog is not about me but to those special days I celebrated with my family. Just this recent Christmas celebration we turned Green and we added grin in our faces when we exchanged gifts. I received a simple mirror that I liked so much since we just transfer to our new apartment and I haven't got the chance to buy me a comfort room mirror, anyways, thanks to my sister for that black framed mirror. My other sister Lorie Mae received on other hand my 2 plastic cylinder container (she was really disappointed about it) which she did not really like because she cannot really find any sense of me giving out a very lousy plastic container. Oh well, its not the price tag, its the thought that counts, me and ivane who organized the gathering made ourselves clear that price is not that important, its the sense of giving matters most.

My mom with her striking curly colored hair went to celebrate with us with my cousin Danna. My sister Ai2x with her baby Brea and husband JR also came. As well as Ivane, Her mom and our dogs. The following day my dad went to visit us as well. Im thankful that at least I was able to see us complete and happy.

Another celebration occurred during the New Year's eve with our sparkling blue attire. I was not able to attend our company's Blue Christmas Party, so I just continued and spent it with my family instead. Not that complete compared to the Christmas celebration since my mom and Danna did not make it, Mom had her skin allergy and Danna went to celebrate with my other aunt in Lapu-Lapu City but overall it was still great and fun-filled added that Nico (Ivane's brother) came to celebrate with us.

We spent the last hours of 2010 with games: We played the "fill the missing spongebob parts" which my team won and the charades in which Ivane's team won (we let them win, LOL). There were prizes as well to motivate everyone.

Oh well, to sum up everything, its the most memorable xmas and New Year celebration I had.

A dinner in Tara's

I tried eating breakfast buffet in Tara's once but never got a chance to eat dinner there. Last night I was craving for a Liempo and ended up going to IT park with Ivane in search of the Balamban Liempo. We were in the wrong place the guards said since its somewhere in JY square that they know a branch of Balamban Liempo is situated.

We just decided to dine at Tara's instead since we got so hungry and it was a perfect coincidence since Tara's also offers a delicious Liempo. I ordered my Liempo and Ivane got her usual chicken leg order. I really like the Liempo but the dessert frustrates me, when i thought that it was really a brownie when in fact its just an ordinary fudge chocolate cake added with a very lousy homemade ice cream. Oh well, I kinda thought that the entire place was nice though, with an added lighten candle to spark a great ambiance.

Overall, I like the place. It has a passing mark for me :D. I dont know with Ivane maybe she does not like it. We also saw Jay Dequito there dining at KFC with his boyfriend. It was fun, we went home very full and very much contented.

Busy mode

Got really busy lately and haven't been able to update my blog. Me and Ivane are working on our collaborated blog that you can find here. Anyway, what made me busy was that manga (fairytail) Jude and Marlo was digging in, that I also find very interesting. Im a moderate manga reader before and lead me to read satan 666 and as well as gakuen alice, now because of the interest that the two of my friends was showing, they got me into reading manga again. Everyday it takes 2-3 hours of my time just reading manga, I know you will react because 2-3 hours is really not enough for those hybrid reader, but as I mentioned, Im just a moderate reader. :D

We've been busy lately as well because of our new business GLAMCHIC888 from FB, yes I am one of the owner of glamchic with ivane as my partner. We sell ladies clothing from swim wear, casual to formal, and it kinda interest me a lot because I'm the one assigned to take pictures of those we were selling. Also we went to some places outside Cebu for relaxation: first with our siblings in Bantayan Island and some of our friends in Camotes Island.

there are still a lot that I just cannot mention.. Oh well I just felt bad that I stopped blogging.. ehehe. Anyway, this is just for me to read once in a while.. and who cares if i will update this or not, right?

How we become

This is a story of how I meet Ivane and how I fell into this so called LOVE.

I was a boring, busy, self centered, sarcastic and hopeless guy before I meet her. She was on the other hand, sweet, cute, simple and nice individual. I never realized that my summer classmate in Jose Rizal class came to be the most important woman in my life today.

Talking about the first day I met her, I never believe in those “slow-motion moments” that I usually see on movies, but it was during a busy-hot summer day that I realized it can be true. She was right there, standing (with a ceiling fan behind her adding the drama), wearing her fave orange blouse and her cute smile. It was then I started having a crush on her, I looked forward in seeing her and becoming her group mate in any activity we had in our Jose Rizal class. I realized I was such a looser when summer ends without making any moves, so I decided on the first semester I will do everything to win her. Luckily we were classmates in some subjects. I noticed there were also some guys who had the same interest as I did to Ivane. I never wasted my time and courted her; it was a gruesome 3 weeks of courtship until we were officially together. I felt contented and happy with her, unlike my previous relationships that I considered failure.

September 9^th of 2005 was the day that I always remember, she accepted me as her only companion (hopefully for the rest of our lives). It’s been years that we’ve been together with normal glitches in a relationship, I’m proud that up until now, she stayed and kept on holding. We are strengthen by our promises to be there on all circumstance whether it’s a small fight, misunderstanding, jealousy and doubt, we still manage to stand and show the world that we are really for each other. I am also proud in saying that so far we haven’t called it a quits or a call off because we believe that there is no string that can’t be untangled. Everything has a solution and everything has a reason.

I’m writing this to keep us reminded that we are lucky enough that we have someone to love and there is someone that treats us special regardless of our being imperfect that beyond every thumb on earth God created a person that will match ours. And this is called destiny.

Sinulog 2010

We Cebuanos celebrate the festivity of Santo Niño every 3^rd week of January. Just the usual, we go out dancing in the street by the beat of the original sinulog music. Colors everywhere, people of all sorts of life are present as well.

I just noticed that almost always during the Sinulog festivity, it rains, and just the usual people go home with muddy slippers and dirty legs. But it’s still worth it. Nothing will hinder the Cebuanos from celebrating.

You can find Higantes (giant puppets), floats with celebrities, street dancing, colors and fun in the streets of Cebu. Year after year, the Sinulog foundation doesn’t fail in improving the festivity, and I notice that they’re stricter now in regards with security; because we witnessed a foreigner being scolded by a patrol security when he entered to the street premises without an ID (only contingents and photographers with ID are allowed inside).

Our location in viewing the entire street activities is much better compared last year. We stayed in one of the islands across the PLDT building. It was quite fun, we ate lunch on the location as well; we had our umbrella covering to protect ourselves from the heat and the rain.

At 5pm we decided to head Ayala, we walked our way from Osmeña Boulivard to Escario and luckily there was a jeepney going to Ayala Center Cebu. We went to Roma Mia, ate pizza and drink beer. We thought fireworks display will be at 7pm so we waited a little bit, my eyes were the reason why we went home early, I was so sleepy, it was almost 24 hours I did not rest since I came from work the day before, and so we decide to go home instead. Back at my boarding house there was a little party prepared by my board mates. Around 9pm the fireworks display started, we went to the roof top and enjoyed the view. I was never too excited about Sinulog before, since I have Ivane, seems like every occasion is worth to celebrate. I’m really looking forward for next year’s SINULOG! VIVA PIT SENIOR

Missing my family

What I consider a normal life for me now is going to work, going home seeing my dog wiggling his tail-less butt, feeding my fish, eating, sleeping, small talk with my sister, and going back to work. It’s a life I consider boring. Even during days off I still feel the void, despite of the laughter and unnoticed time, there is still something missing.

I felt a little nostalgic when I saw a photo of my friend with his family (at least with a parent present). I will honestly tell I was jealous since I never/seldom got the chance to see my parents. I can still recall when we were still complete (ma and pa separated btw) we were renting a small house with my sisters, my father and mother. Life was simple then, we go to church together, eat out in our fave fastfood, and enjoy our moments talking and sharing stories. I was contented to see everyone present when I got home, we don’t have the fortune in the world but we have ourselves.

Everything changed gradually when relationship started failing with both parents. Shouts and hatred were around, the evilness of affairs and misunderstanding became the reason why everything shuttered. They backed off, and broke their promise to God in staying together forever. We then start leaving alone minus the father; it was still okay at least mama was around, she tried everything to play the role of a single mom. Papa was still there financially, we still got the chance to see him if we just set proper time and date, I felt that I was making an appointment with a doctor just to see him. Never had it come to me that the situation we had was too difficult to handle not until now. Never had I cried of such destitute, never had I asked questions.

It is really sad but enough with the drama. Now I’m living alone with my pets and one of my sisters, my other sister and mama are now staying in the province. I’m trying to face life as if I am really old enough to understand everything, still I never ask questions. Making myself busy with something else really helps a lot. Having a good relationship with God is a good thing as well- you have someone that you can share your being broken. Also thanking my Ivane for sharing life with me.

I may never have a complete family again, but thinking I had one is fairly enough …. Still trying to be contented with what I have.

It just started last year that I got into Fish, I kinda find them really interesting though they really have a random lifespan I still find them amusing and entertaining (I keep on staring them for hours observing). I turned a small part of my room into a mini fish sanctuary.. Hehehe

What interest me most are my Betta (or fighting fish), (word: a large genus of small, often colorful, freshwater ray-finned fishes in the gourami family [Osphronemidae]). For me they are the most beautiful specie of fresh water fish. I have 5 Betta that I keep in small cylinder glasses; Betta needs to be placed in their individual aquarium because of their temper. They hate each other so much that even in their own glasses they still displays their black under-fin (indication that they are mad), they’re always mad. I read a blog explaining why they’re mad is because they think of the other male Betta as a competitor when it comes to mating, did I mention I only keep male Bettas? The reason for that is because the females have less attractive colors and their fins were shorter, they don’t look pretty compared to the males.

Since I only have these small containers for each of them it is always a must to clean them often, I clean their stone base and brush their glasses once a week since they easily get muddy. It will take me like 20-30 minutes cleaning all of them. I consider it a stress-reliever.

I also have other kinds of fish, like, angel fish, black skirt Tetra, zebra fish, Tiger barb, guppy and molly. I also have Nelly (my turtle). I really don’t like the idea buying lots of fish and then knowing they will die if you commit a mistake in handling or in caring them. For now I will just keep an eye on what I have.

We call her Nelly because she is so slow, she resembles a snail. I will write something about Nelly next time.

I've known blogspot.com for quite a long time already but I never thought of creating my own blog until now. Just trying out how this thingy will work for me knowing that I am busy most of the time.. hehe.. anyways i guess this is the beginning of my blogging life.. (did I just use the correct term? dang! who cares)

Let me start by Introducing myself, My name is Mark, my gf and I calls ourselves "mine" that's why I chose mineMark as my blogger name. I am currently staying in a small room with my sister in Cebu together with our dog Migz. I work in a call center and is also an Information Technology student from the University of Cebu.

hmmmm... introduction is always boring, let me just share what happen to me this day.

It was our monthsary with my gf last Jan. 9, and since as I said, I am always busy, and so is she, it is just today that we got a chance to celebrate our "being together" (actually it was our 52nd monthsary [you do the math ^___^]).

We went to Friday's and ate this really huge Bacon Cheeseburger and Jack Daniel's Burger, we got a discount from smartConcept and got this Sundae for free! TGIF is quite a nice place. We should have asked few of their employees to sing a merry song for us since it was our day.. but we just settled in the corner and celebrated our day silently while taking few pictures anyways. Ivane (my gf) is quite cam-friendly (word: what's the opposite of cam-shy? ). After our short fattening feast in Friday's we went to buy me a new pair of slippers, it was like 2 hours i think that we saw this violet slipper from Human and decided to buy it, Ivane herself bought like 5 pairs of Penshoppe slippers for her cousins (late new year gift). We have those wrapped in this special papers from National bookstore, (gifts really look pretty if wrapped, wish I can show you how well it was done) . We went straight to Starbucks and I tried their limited edition choco peppermint, Ivane got her usual strawberry frappe.

Fast forward (~with the tape music)

went to Watson's to buy Ivane's stuff, rode taxi, went home and accompany Ivane to ride a jeepney for her to go home.. I soaked my clothes and decided to write a blog... I guess that's it, hmmm.. its not too bad writing my first blog though a little tiring.. hehehe.

I'm thinking now that I'm crazy writing this blog knowing that nobody will read this.. ahahaha.. for now, I need to get some sleep. I have 2 pictures of Migz and Ivane below... ^__^
